Final Drafts

As I have Wednesday through Friday off, I should be able to finish the final drafts for Salvation Lost and Magestorm: The Awakening. I'm also getting close to finishing the first draft the Magestorm: The Reckoning. There's a small change that I may finish that as well by next week, but no guarantees there.

Salvation Lost

The final review has been completed, so I'm doing the last edits this weekend. I'll then proceed with getting it set for publishing while waiting on a cover. The cover may take some time, as the artist I used last time is really busy. For now I can just get everything else together and think over what I want the cover to look like.

Magestorm Update

So, here's where things stand with the Magestorm trilogy...

The Awakening - 3 drafts done, waiting to have a final proof-read completed. As the cover is already done, once the 4th and final draft is ready, it should take only a week or two to publish.

The Embracing - 2 drafts done, awaiting first proof-read. Again, cover is done and ready to go. Planning to release this either 3 or 6 months after the first one, so still have plenty of time.

The Reckoning - Working on 1st draft. Going slow right now as I work out how to piece things together and close out the story lines. About 9 chapters completed so far. Again, plan to release 3 or 6 months after book 2, so I'm well on track.

Magestorm: The Embracing

I've just finished the second book of Magestorm. It still has a couple of reviews to go, but the story is complete. Now I can get the third draft of book 1 completed.

Returned from unplanned trip

Had to take a trip last week for a funeral, so I didn't do much writing. I did, however, figure out where the rest of Magestorm: The Embracing will go. I was a little stumped on how to finish it and get done what needed to be done. Now I've got a plan and I've started towards that end.

I also need to complete the next revision of the first Magestorm, as well as Wartorn. My reviewer/wife finished those, so they're just waiting on me now. Then I can pass them on to my final reviewer (who is currently working on Salvation Lost). I would say those three are well on their way to being published this year!

I also figured out how to continue the Sinners and Saviors series. Basically, I need to skip what was planned to be book 3, and simply account for some of the details in my plans for book 4. Book 3 will then be used as part of a flashback planned, which will chronicle Nick's journey.

So much to write, so little time...

Chasing Salvation - Print Version COMPLETED

I have in my hand printed copies of my book Check one off my to-do list! :D

Unfortunately, through Createspace's print-on-demand, I'm limited on the cost I can sell for. I doubt many people will spend $11 on the paperback book, but that's okay. I can get a print version for myself, so the work was worth it, and it doesn't cost anything to set it up and list it. All good.
